Shivsu Canada Pure Fillers Ties up with Belgium’s PRODEB Brewery to Launch Micro Brewery Equipment

Shivsu Canada Pure Fillers Pvt. Ltd. (SCPF) has recently entered into a Joint Venture with Belgium-based M/s. PRODEB Brewery & Technology who are the leaders in Brewery equipment to provide total turnkey solutions for Micro Breweries / Brew pubs (a micro brewery is a small brewery with a limited production capacity which produces hand-crafted beers).

The demand for Beer is growing at the rate of 25 to 30% per annum in India and Shivsu wants to capitalize the opening of micro brewery licenses by the Government in several states in India. It expects to establish at least 75 to 100 micro breweries at an investment of Rs. 1.5 Crores t o 2 Crores each by the end of FY 2011-12 in various states in India amounting to a turnover of Rs. 100 to 150 crores annually and job opportunity to over 1500 people.

According to Mr. Sushilkumar Eashwaran, Technical Director of SCPF, “the Indian market for different types of beers available in Europe is still at a nascent stage in India. Due to a clear policy of licenses for micro breweries / brew pubs by various state governments in India the growth of European traditional beer is bent to attract and satisfy the taste buds of millions of Consumers.”

Canada Pure Fillers plans to launch through these micro breweries and brew pubs not just regular lager or ales but also many exiting flavors of beers such as Apple, Peach, Litchi, Kriek and Chocolate. It also expects to launch Stout beers as well as Artizanal beers as well as a special beer for women in the offing. The alcohol level present in the micro brewery / brew pubs will range from 3 to 8%. The company has a team of reputed brew masters from Belgium who would share the recipes and train the Indian companies to produce great tasting beer. In the process, SCPF has launched equipment with a joint venture with PRODEB Brewery Technology from Belgium.

“We believe that the finest beers in the world are manufactured in Belgium and we would like the Indian market to taste freshly brewed beer with the recipe from the leading brands and brew masters from Belgium. Our micro breweries will not only offer a wide variety to the Indian consumers but also to the international tourist. This would add a big boost to the Indian tourism industry. America / Europe have more than 2500 micro breweries / brewpubs and we expect the same numbers in India in the coming years,” added Mr. Sushilkumar Eashwaran.

Glass Bottle Washers Launched

Shivsu Canada Pure Fillers Pvt. Ltd launches Glass bottle washers, fillers and cappers in joint venture with Rita bottling under the brand name of Shivsu-Rita. This glass bottle equipments are meant to cater to wide range of industries like Distilleries, Breweries, Soft drink and Pharmaceuticals.

The range of machines starts from 60 BPM to 400 BPM. The washers are designed specially even to run on recycled glass bottles.

As per Mr. Sushil Kumar Eashwaran, Technical Director of SCPF the equipments are built with proven technology from Rita Bottling, who are pioneers in the field for over 30 years. Rita have incorporated German Technology in their design and engineering and have supplied more than 250 Glass bottles fillers to the Indian market.

Major clients for Rita Bottling being United Breweries Group, PEPSI, Major Distilleries, Breweries and Soft drink manufactures all over india.

Shivsu canada pure fillers pvt. Ltd inaugurated it’s a state of art new manufacturing facility on 27th April 2011. At Poonamallee to produce the above machines. According to Mr. Sushil Kumar Eashwaran, the company has already received order to the tune of over 50 Crores and expects to do a turn over of over 100 Crores in this new division in the coming year.
